Lisa Almehsen loves to leverage her extensive franchise background in order to serve and help others achieve their personal dream of starting a successful franchise business. Lisa assists entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in developing and executing their vision of business ownership. While building strong relationships with her clients and the leadership of hundreds of franchise concepts, Lisa draws on her background in franchise development and operations to help candidates compare and complete due diligence, earning her Certified Franchise Executive certification in January 2011. She is passionate about leading and working alongside her clients during the franchise discovery process and loves to assist in finding their best fit possible.


Prior to Lisa joining the Franchise Consulting Company, she was the Franchise Development Director at Franworth leading the Spavia Day Spa brand. Lisa has created long-term relationships on behalf of nationally-recognized franchised brands. she served as the Franchise Development Director at Molly Maid. Prior to that, she was the Business Operations Manager for the U.S. and Canadian operations at Invisible Fence, overseeing a $30M distributor-based revenue. She created the recruiting, training and onboarding programs, managed a team and focused on increasing unit and overall revenue through site-visits, training programs and weekly communication.


Lisa began her franchising career as the National Franchise Director at Children’s Orchard and then as Market Development Manager at Matco Tools. She was recognized and promoted to the Southeastern Region Franchise Development Director, shortly into that role, she brought the largest unit increase in that region’s history while in a historical downturn in the economy. During her time in that role, she developed, coordinated, and managed her team of Market Development and District Managers to handle the entire development process – from recruitment to opening. Miracle Ear recruited Lisa Almehsen in 2010 as their Eastern Region Franchise Sales and Operations Manager, where she established a conversion program for the first time in the company’s 60-year history. She was instrumental in the administration of Salesforce, Territory Realignment and eliminating the inventory of company owned stores. In addition, she worked with under-performing franchise owners to either turn-around their business or help them sell their units.
